We evaluated PeopleFluent and 11 other vendors in seven categories, five product-related (adaptability, capability, manageability, reliability and usability) and two concerning the vendor (TCO/ROI and vendor validation). To arrive at the Value Index rating for a given vendor, we weighted each of the seven categories to reflect its relative importance in an RFP process, with the weightings based on data derived from our benchmark research on LMS.
PeopleFluent ranks fifth in this Value Index on LMS and is a Value Index Leader (top three) in the TCO/ROI category. Learning Technology Group (LTG) acquired PeopleFluent in 2018 and the company since has merged with NetDimensions which is part of LTG.
The talent management vendor provides a well-rounded learning management and scores above the mean in our aggregated Product and Customer Assurance categories. PeopleFluent performed well in the TCO/ROI evaluation category due to excellent customer case studies. The learning and talent management vendor’s lowest scores are in the Usability category; performance would have been stronger with gamification, conversational experiences (voice and chat) and peer-to-peer social collaboration. The vendor’s reliability scores were also adversely impacted by commentary from some customers.
